We are a comprehensive systems integrator which includes serving the U.S. Federal Government market. RCE focuses on providing enterprise solutions consisting of technical support and integration services, management consulting and commercial off-the-shelf products.

RC Electronics provides integrated logistics support, customer parts, systems and components for use by the United States Marines, United States Coast Guard, United States Navy, supporting Tac3, Tac4, C4I, SNAP, GCCS, PMW157, and Tomahawk. We ship CONUS or OCONUS.

Our customers consist of Fortune 500 Companies, i.e.: Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, L3 Communications, SAIC, Litton Industries, General Dynamics

Our current products are customed configured workstations (Hewlett Packard, Sun, and Compaq), spares, upgrades, and legacy HP 9000 systems. We specialize in End-Of Life and Hard to Find items. The specific value added is that we provide customer compliant rugged solutions for shipboard as well as ashore mounting of hardware. We customize, assemble, test and install integrated logistic system compliant hardware. Some of the value added items provided are designed to meet Mil STD 167 and 901D requirements in accordance with customer requirements.

Physical Plant is 19,000 sq ft of Manufacturing, System Integration, Test, Offices, Warehouse and Shipping and Receiving. The facility is secured 24 hours a day. We have T1 Internet capability.

Products and Services

The company sells, integrates, and distributes commercial âbuild to orderâ computer hardware including desktop computers, portable computers, servers, printers, peripherals, and networking components to the federal government. In addition to hardware, the company sells and distributes commercial software primarily for office automation tasks and network administration. Software is pre-loaded in the desktop and portable computers before distribution to the customer. Distribution and delivery are made worldwide. The company provides after sales and a customer support center which answers technical questions. In addition, for complex technical problems the company provides assistance with senior engineering personnel.

Engineering Services

RC Electronics can assist you in creating custom ruggedized solutions tailored to your application. We stock rugged 17" and 18" flat panel monitors in multiple configurations. These can be rack mounted in a slide out or hinged panel. We custom design hardware tie down kits, hide-away keyboards, rugged RAID's, mass storage chassis, Rugged rack mounted tactical servers, displays and cables. We also stock shipboard rack systems that can be used as is, or modified to meet your requirements. All of our rugged items are designed to meet MIL STD 167, MIL-STD 901D shock requirements.

Key Technical Personnel (Maintenance and Repair)

Some of the current RC Electronics technicians have acquired certifications from major computer manufacturers and software companies, e.g. Microsoft, Hewlett Packard (HP-UX Unix) Sun Solaris OS. Presently, most of our technicians are involved in a training strategy ensuring that all RC Electronics technicians are practicing and are up to date on the latest troubleshooting techniques and are familiar with the latest in technology that is offered to our customers.

Custom Cable Assembly and Manufacturing

Our Cable Assembly partner is an ISO 9001-2000 certified, quality driven, custom manufacturer and value-added distributor. Founded in 1971, with 60 skilled technicians, engineers, QC, project managers and support staff. They have earned a solid reputation for manufacturing custom wire, cable, harness, and electro-mechanical assembly. They serve the most demanding markets for assembly including Aircraft, Military, Medical, Data & Communications, Test Equipment, Flat Panel Display Systems and Security/Detection Equipment.

In addition to an extremely talented and experienced production team, our Cable Assembly Sub-Contractor provides complete engineering support and comprehensive documentation for product development, design, tooling and testing. They have trained and certified technicians to the IPC-A610 & Mil-Spec Soldering standards and has staff certified as registered instructors for the WHMA/IPC-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Harness Assemblies.

Our Cable Assembly Sub-Contractor utilizes state-of-art automatic manufacturing and testing equipment including Schleuiger high speed programmable Wire Processing equipment, Schleuiger SR1000 Semi-Rigid Conformable Coax stripping and pointing system, Cirris Programmable Test Systems, DIT-MCO International Wiring Analyzer System, Hi-pot testing, MTDR RF testing, Alphatron Motorized Pull Test, and ESD Protected Assembly Stations. Our Cable Assembly Sub-Contractor is highly tooled with applicators and high-speed crimp presses from among others 3M, AMP/Tyco, Anderson, FCI, HIROSE, HONDA, ITT Cannon, JST, JAE, MOLEX, Phoenix, & PANDUIT.

Relevant Risk and Mitigation Plan

We monitor all of our work and are constantly working to eliminate our defects by applying an in-process inspection and continuous measurable improvement plan, which involve procedures for problem detection and corrective action techniques. We also have redundancy of all systems, backup power supply, facility security, and technical security, availability of back-up software, operating system, and hardware, system monitoring, technical maintenance staff for our server.
