Network Storage Module (NSM) 160
The LeftHand SAN Network Storage Module (NSM) 160 is an integrated storage subsystem built on industry-standard Intel processors and Serial ATA II disk drives. The NSM 160 is available in two capacities: 1 terabyte and 2 terabytes per module. NSMs are Ethernetbased storage devices that are clustered together using SAN/iQ software to provide a complete iSCSI SAN solution. The NSM 160
is appropriate for installations or sites that need to scale in granular increments, featuring two scalable capacities, dual NIC failover and
multiple hot-swappable drives. The LeftHand SAN storage platforms are storage pool using the advanced clustering capabilities of SAN/iQ. Multiple NSMs can be
clustered to support application requirements, and the cluster(s) is easily managed using an intuitive centralized management console. Cluster performance and capacity scale dynamically without system downtime.
The LeftHand SAN NSM 160 provides enterprise-class high availability and performance. Highlights include:
